On Learning Languages

The Champion brand is one of the more commonly pirated brands here in China.  Check out these few examples of 'wannabees'.   There are many others.   It all makes me think about the difficulty of language learning.   I don't fault any Chinese person for not being good at English, I know full well how difficult it is to learn the other language.  But it does cause me to understand more deeply how important it is to pay attention to details while learning languages.  'Chimptwo', 'Decameter' and 'Ckemqairm' (or whatever that one says), and the others simply do not say 'Champion'.   Thankfully over the years, I've had the blessed opportunity of learning the language of the Spirit.  It also is an upward curve.  Details need to be attended to.  It takes lots of experience and lots of practice. The Latest Fashion News

Here are the latest in fashion trends from China. I always get a kick out of great combinations such as these.  I call them "real matchers'.   And then there are the ever present t-shirt fashions: "Cabbage  Morb delicious " "Native American, Indiana, Tribes years ago"   Popeye, Unfluid Studios  "What's--Holiday Village, Missoula MT "   I asked this girl if I could take a picture of her shirt.  It caught my attention because Tom was born in Missoula.  She, of course, had no clue what her shirt was even about. "My energy comes from freedom"   "Lovely Pig--wash your fragrant" I seriously wanted to buy this shirt because I think it is so funny.  It says "Perfect Saint".  I don't believe that anyone who understands its meaning would wear it.  I wanted it as a souvenir, but it was $80.  So, sadly I'll just keep the picture as my souvenir.  Interestingly, I did see someone wearing this shirt.  I wish...
