T-shirt Time Again

I've decided that T-shirts come in 4 categories here.  
1) They make perfect sense. 
2) The English is correct, but the message is puzzling, or hilarious.
3) The English is correct enough that you can discern a message, but the spacing and spelling are off, sometimes these make sense, sometimes not. 
4) They have random letters of the alphabet and don't make any sense.  
You could also make some sub categories that include copyright infringements or where a stolen message has been altered by spacing or spelling.  Or ones where some words are discernible with other non-words.  But I'll stick with the 4 basic categories.  
My favorite ones by far are category #2.  Enjoy!
This one is a bit hard to read:  "it's time for a love revolurion"
This is one of my favorites.  New York Giants are so big here.  Clear trademark infringements.
Disney is also a big stolen market.
These kinds make me laugh and make me feel like I just don't understand English very well.  It says:

One night we were walking along a river and some young girls were singing "Row row ow your boat..." Unlike this t-shirt, they had their words right.

Human made--Gears for futuristic teenagers
I should have bought this shirt; I quite liked it.  The bottom says "People who struggle together."  I've always wondered what repast meant.  Now I know! (The image is more correct than the description.) 
Unfluid means not readily converted into cash.  So this t-shirt is fitting for us since we still have yet to see a pay check.....  I should have bought it, I guess!
Reminiscent of quarantining....
Friendship:  Everyone avoid large gatheringsto preven the spread of coronavirus 
Some others we've seen "Daisies of the world unite." "Leisure and Scriptures"  "Playboy" worn by a 50+ woman.  "Beer pear" worn by a child.  Most of the time, I read a classic t-shirt vowing to remember it long enough to write it down and then I forget because there is another one or something else interesting comes up....  Oh well, there will be another one again!  Often the most classic shirts we see on people and not in stores, but I rarely have been brave enough to take pictures of those. Either way, we are constantly entertained.

Bamboo Forest

There is a bamboo forest nearby.  A few weeks ago we paid it a visit. It was about an hour drive and after we got off the freeway it was a meandering road through some cute villages.  I started getting excited for some hiking and a lovely nature experience. I should have known better.  This is China.  If people will come, they will find a way to make some money.  The bamboo forest was no different---it was a tourist trap. That didn't mean we didn't enjoy it.  We did. It was a lot of fun.  But our expectations were shot down yet again.  (Pro tip, Darcee, drop all expectations, you're in China!) Underarm Odor Census Notice

I just got this text message from Changzhou City. I can't quite imagine what an inspection would entail. (And to "enjoy" an inspection!) In a country where you can't buy deodorant, what would the treatment be?  I wish them well on their census efforts!

Food

Food has been one of the hardest aspects of our quarantine.  Food is emotionally comforting, so we're missing out on that--especially the girls.  We're not used to the smells.  It is cafeteria type foods.  Much of the time we don't know what it is.  Always an adventure...not always a pleasant one!  That said, incoming meals are the most exciting time of the day.  Originally we were getting 4 meals a day.  But the only thing the girls were eating from them was the rice and there is way too much rice in that container for one person.  So we had it cut back to two. Breakfast is the hardest meal of the day.  I already knew I didn't love Chinese breakfasts.  Tom had told me that every breakfast he saw from watching quarantining videos had a boiled egg.  I knew I could eat that if I had some salt and pepper.  So I brought some.  We're doing okay on the salt--supply wise.  We're rationing on the pepper.  I'm so tha...
